    andybroady,

IMO, the key issue is intent.

If its intention to defraud people of investments, then it could be proven with MN being the first step.

    Ex:

A few traders get together and decide they are going to ramp a stock up to sell out of at a higher price. They have a couple of alias names and decide to use a large known forum to attract the stooges by ramping up the stock.

Multinicking could be first proven here by asic. Secondly, they could check each of those persons trades if they suspected there may be a scam in a particular company.

    Ban all multinics for life.

I still think that all forums such as HC should have stringent policies in place to protect the majority.

A drivers Licence Number to prove that the person is bonafide. An IP address is useless imo. Very easy to get another ip address. Instead, you post out a Pin number to the persons address to activate their account. This eliminates people joining HC from business addresses.

Lets face it, it is a priviledge to be on HC, not a right where we can meet others in a like minded community and learn from many as we exchange ideas.

Just my thoughts on the subject.

    Cheers markco2
