Yes we did miss 99% of BT's preamble but I suppose it was going to be the Q&A that would be the most interesting.
But BT was not going to speculate on the likely outcomes - sounded like they'll be delivering the reply personally to the Minister in Kinshasa on Feb27.
They want the World Bank/MIGA or some similar world organization to get involved on behalf of the mining companies as there is no real united mining international body that could negotiate the broad terms with the govt on what is fair & what is not.
It will still get down to the negotiating skills of each company but we don't know yet whether these are ambit claims or are basically non-negotiable terms.
