I wouldn't discount the possibility of the CAT MOU ending, and the HX being manufactured in Mexico by the same factories that are targeted by Trump.
In Jan 2018 it was announced that production of RAM heavy duty (pickup aka utes) trucks would move from Mexico to USA.

This means that there will be a factory that used to produce Heavy Duty (pickup aka utes) trucks sitting idle, until someone finds a use for it.
