Kongg, as to my interest in MFS, as a naive short and balding follow I am, I once, and a lesson learned the hard way, believed posters in a particular company. their posts, and it was a group of them, explained the virtues of the company how good management was, how good the company was and so on and so on. Having read i thought I would invest, the price had been going up and everything looked up and up.

But i realised that the group were either one person or acted in concerted effort and ramped it in a way that didn't seem a ramp. While i did some research, the research didnt prepare me for the ramping. anyhow, i lost some money and learnt a very valuable lesson.

With the sub-prime crisis a number of companies have fallen on hard times and some for no real reason ie over sold. CNP and MFS were two. CNP is very risky and was subject to the day traders who hunt in packs. MFS on the other hand was in a trading halt, albeit at the time for a few days. I saw a potential opportunity. But what really intrigued me when providing an opinion, how positive and down rght agressive a number of posters were about the success of MFS. Having learnt my lesson, I thought there would persons such as me, a little niave, and I still am, who may need some balance - ie questioning the strength of MFS and the posters comments. Along the way I found it very interesting in how people deal with things, to the point of using rational arguement to support irrational comments even acting persons for not providing 'factual' information. Yet when they post something positive they claim that it is 'factual'.

So i have remained. MFS, if it does come out of the halt may be a bargin being way oversold or not worth touching at any price.

To the exisiting shareholders, I do hope MFS recovers for you. But please do your research, dont believe posters as you do not know their agenda push.

IMVHO i think some here are trying to offload their shares to unsuspecting buyers after having tried to ramp the stock. passing their bad luck on to someone else.

Remember a lot of posters dont do what they say.

    Good luck to you all.
