what is a blind short?

i went short on ftse last night at 5988, set a fairly tight stop coz i wans't comfortable with it, the stop was at 5989, it hit it and then fell away, i was in bed.

woke this morning to find i could have made a bucketload if i'd of had looser stops!! good thing is i lost next to nothing. one of those things, ya have to weigh up the risk and make a decision hey. i lost basically nothing and plenty more opportunities, so i'm not so bothered.
