Agreed Merrill Lynch was a very bad look. The presumption, however, appears to be that the buyers are mums and dads, and there are no pros hiding behind Commsec?
I accept that the pros have been dumping AVZ for quite awhile, but I see two potential games being played out at AVZ.
1. The pros know something retail doesn't, but given the lack of Top 20 selling, it probably also means the pros know something the TOP 20 doesn't know?
2. The pros have been dumping to scare retail and soak up their shares at these lower prices.
To confirm what is happening I would need to compare the composition of the Non TOP 20 before the Klaus dump, and compare it with the composition of the Non TOP 20 today.
I'm not sure if this information is accessible?
