For anyone wondering what an offtake agreement with funding can look like, that announcement from PIO is a clear example. Offtake and interest free loan tied up together.
No reason LPD can't do that with LC for P1.
You're right @Star Boarder that it means they're going to build a mine, which is good.
The tricky bit is they're shipping DSO for this deal. That means there's no separation going on to separate the lepidolite from the pollucite.
Maybe they can mine around most of the lepidolite for now and build a concentrator in the next couple of years. Then they can sell LPD the lepidolite for P2.
That'd be great.
