In Melb if u go to St Kilda beach or Middle Park or Port Melb before the beach cleaning machine u see plenty of plastic. I don’t know why all over the world they don’t put a slight refund on empty plastic bottles because in poor countries they’d collect them.
The other thing is with the “plastic sea” in the pacific wouldn’t it be relatively simple to net out a substantial amount of this plastic..I don’t know are they already doing it?
