The technical "cup" is telling us that it wants to get to the "brim" of the cup, but, the market seems to be telling us something else. My point is where are the fundamentals that supported yesterday's activity, surely it wasn't on TAs alone? For TA's, is today's action consistent with the "cup" theory?
