Finicky - let me add my compliments to the list, for an excellent post at the top of this thread.

I too was a MMN holder for ages, but sold (at a nice profit) ages ago, once the shenanigins started with more cap raising, empty promises, missed deadlines, more SPPs and shareholder-pocket mining and wallet biopsies, etc etc.

Basically, I lost all faith in the management, and was lucky to get out with a nice profit. And don't forget, these are the same guys who want to mine the Kokoda Track through FNT - what great PR skills they have! Sheesh!

CXC is my silver play of choice, and are for the longer term, not a quick trade and profit scalping.

My favourite gold stocks are EQI, SBM and IGR, with NAV to add to that list if the impending report is as good as rumoured.

One problem that some may have overlooked, is that as our dollar climbs against the US dollar (or more accurately, theirs falls against ours), the exchange values of precious metals like gold and silver are actually LESS attractive in Aussie dollars. For maximum leverage against the exchange rate, as the price of gold and silver goes up, ideally we want to see our dollar going DOWN.

Congrats on an excellent post Finicky. Keep up the good work :)
