What I also find interesting is a almost 1 Billion dollar company obviously felt spooked enough by an anonymous report that it put the the company into a trading halt. If everything is above board why did the company feel compelled to even bother responding to an unknown entity, checkmate research. Checkmate research have only been on twitter since May and had only a few followers prior to todays announcement. Funny thing is this trading halt has drawn attention from the broader market and shone a spotlight on the companies financials. If I was a holder I would be concerned, as you need more buyers than sellers to drive the share price higher, but when their is negativity/doubt towards a company, buyers will stay away.
I have a simple rule when it comes to investing; Better to shoot first(sell) and ask questions later. This simple rule would have saved many investor over the years, with the most recent being BLA, GSW, BIG.
