    Hi all

I have a little advice for those who get angry when others make negative observations about a stock - listen to your anger. I felt the same way when someone crtisised TIM a day after I bought the stock. However after a couple of days I realised the criticism had merit. I did further analysis and sold out and I am glad I did

Now- one simple point about MON. People keep talking about the gold price and how gold at 1200 will ensure MON is profitable. this is true, but one must think of relative performance. At $1200 how many gold companies will be better off more than MON. My guess is most. Also what happens if gold drops to $800 an announce even short term -how much money will MON lose per month

My problem with MON is MK. he was making big statements about 500K a year production with absolutely no means to get there. Over the last year this has been slashed and there have been two placements with more to go. People where quoting a forward PE of 4 by the end of 2008 about a year ago. Has anyone bothered to work out what the forward PE looks like now( if there is one) with productions costs high and actual prodction low.

I have no doubt that if this stock does not go belly up that it will be so diluted with more placements that increased levels of production even if achieved will not drive the SP higher.

If you hold and you are getting angry -don't , simply consider the points and if you still think you are correct and this is a good gold stock then sit back, relax and enjoy
