Yes possibly, but 500,000 shares in 96 trades in the first two and a half hours does seem somewhat excessive for buyers' remorse. As for stags, anyone that thought a global investment fund company would appreciate quickly on opening probably should do some better research. All very interesting, and just shows how unpredictable (for me) the stock market is.
