Guys... I received an email from a friend of a friend who works at the Simberi mine.. It was received on the 14th when the gold pour was announced, but if you check the date of the photos you will see it was 1 week earlier that they were taken on the 7th Feb.
The photo is on scales showing 4kg. In the email it said that first gold pour has finally arrived.. (This person has been there for approx 6 years so they have seen all the highs and lows).

Maybe the first bar was 4kg (4 kilogram = 141.095oz)and then the remaining 2251oz (2392oz-141oz) was poured in the 6 days after these photos leading up to the announcement?
Just some quick math, but if you presume that they work 6 days a week over there then they should be:
13feb minus 7th Feb = 6 days
2251oz / 6 days = 375oz per day
372oz per day X 6 days X 52 weeks = 117052oz per year..
Fair close estimate I reckon!
