Political risk is already calculated in, and anyone trying to pretend that all is well in Mauritania and that there is no risk ivolved is dreaming. The huge amount of oil in the ground does make all the difference and will make people take the plunge be it a private investor or a bank. But of course looking at previous posts I will become very disliked by pointing this out.
