Your interest in Greatland was very opportune.

Another good hole to add interest to the Paterson are from Greatland.

Deep and patchy long intersection below some 400m of Permian glacials = cover rock. Previous drilling by NCM who "walked away" apparently leaving clues for others to follow up. Sound familiar?

The average grade is a touch misleading as there are quite a few high to very grade patches within the overall 121m intersection. If the other 3 holes and NCM work confirm this pattern of patchy high grade over broad intervals then the game is afoot.

[The 121m @ 2.93g/t Au 0.23%Cu with the 11.5m high grade taken out becomes 109.5m @ 1g/t Au and 0.18%Cu but this in turn is comprised of multiple narrow high grade zones which also skew the average grade higher. This is not a popular way of looking at intersections.

Narrow high grade zones can skew long intersection average grades so care does need to be exercised. Hopefully, in time, such good zones are found to be statistically real and mineable]

This photo accompanies the headline of two subscription news reports (not read) of the hole. The implication is it comes from the Greatland hole which, if correct, shows IMO a strongly weathered rock with secondary green copper minerals relatively obvious. Not unusual except the main intersection in the 618m vertical hole starts at 497m some 60m below the Permian unconformity. I would suspect this weathering could predate the Permian or there are faults that allow more recent groundwater to penetrate some 500m! [Another interpretation is the photo is of an old hole [NCM?] and the core has been exposed to the elements for a long period of time - the background certainly seems like an old core tray].

Whatever a good hit for Greatland further confirming Paterson area potential as being a good address to own a good chunk of land - AZY among them.

A new style of target as well? IOCG - 50 odd with half on Greatland ground.
