Day to day discussions on S/P, page-183

The last post on this thread was 10 days ago.
I think that says a lot about the frustration with daily movements that we all feel.

Those 10 days have been characterised by a lot of small trades beyond the financial common sense of the average mug punter, but serve to (in negotiation terms) set expectations.

One big buyer looking for 20 million shares and willing to line wipe all the way is all we need to beat the inertia and generate some momentum.
Strangely it is us true believers refusing to sell that is keeping volumes low to a certain extent. We won't sell at these ridiculous prices and so the traders are buying and selling to/from themselves in the hope they can generate a small costless profit that adds up over time.
If I had the courage I would buy and sell in the current range as I have done with other stocks but at this point in the cycle the risk is too great of selling 13 nano-seconds before the next climb up. That happened to me last year when I bought/sold 2 companies a number of times increasing my holding without putting my hand in my pocket until (on the same day) I sold just before both made significant announcements leaving me with cash and egg (all over my face).
Prediction is not my strong suit but PLS is my strong investment.
