Sorry, but which deals are much larger in size for TTT? Are you referring to the unpaid trials they’re doing? Those ones that shareholders are effectively paying for?
You don’t even know what the shipping company is trialing? It might be a small part that isn’t even mass produced? You’re just getting carried away by announcements using words like,”largest ship builder in Europe....” “Worlds largest 3D printer”...
Ok great, how does that mean you are signing large deals?
For all you know, the shipping company might love the technology after the trial!! Great.. Then when it comes to paying for it, they might go find a better deal from similar tech elsewhere in the world... Or the trials may even fail!!! They’re just getting a free look at it, thanks to yours truly...
You seem to be ignoring the fact that manufacturing comes at a cost. Yes they might use cheap powders, but the machines cost money, the parts do, the people do, operating costs do etc.. And unfortunately this will directly relate to the bottom line for TTT. Regardless of whether they sell the tech, the machines or the products manufactured, they have to price their products to the market to make money.. It’s how they will compete against their competition. And unfortunately there’s a pretty big fish in the 3D printer pond. Backed by its Government with billions of dollars, cheap labour etc.. And they also have cheap powders and will have the tech to use it (yes, there are already similar 3D printers in China). It’s pretty obvious the Chinese competitors will be significantly cheaper. Why would any large manufacturers, like a shipping company, waste money on parts? Especially if the deals are worth millions like you seem to be expecting?
I’m sure TTT will sign some meaningful deals in the near future with the product they have. It has potential. And it will make some money. But they would wanna get a hurry on.
Cause this company is up against it long term with China. It’s the world we live in. And if they keep using hyped up announcements to spend share holders $$$ on trials, they’d wanna make sure something comes of it. Cause I’m pretty sure the ASX is already watching TTT pretty carefully.
