From what we know by the change of directors interests anns and the nov top 20:

So roughly 130.4 million votes (that we know of) that we know will go towards keeping current board in

We have 137.5 million votes for Hustler Investments which we know want to boot current board out

It's close!

Since the release of the 249D announcement and mention of intention to appoint Jason Brewer, we've seen roughly 496 million shares change hands (roughly 18.7% of the entire register churned) in 8 trading days. You would have to think that the majority of these shares are in the hands of those in favour of JB and his team...but i guess we can't say this for sure. For all we know the current board camp could have been buying up to increase their voting power, likewise Hustler Investments could have been buying. An up to date top 20 could tell us more...

Citicorp Nominees, BNP Paribas Nominees & HSBC Custody Nominees are all top 20 holders in Jason Brewers 4CE and WFE. They would be aware of the high's and returns of their investments in 4CE & WFE over the last year, just as much as they would be aware of BKP's sorry SP performance over the last 4 years. So i would be surprised if the accumulative 197.5 million votes of these 3 entities don't go to the JB camp.

Then there are the long-term disgruntled shareholders. They would have been very disappointed with how their investment has performed over the last 4 years. And i'm sure they have been quite surprised and happy with the sudden gains made over the last 8 trading days. These gains are 100% as a result of JB and his team potentially coming in to takeover the company. So I'm confident these long-termers will be looking to vote in JB and his team, so that these gains and move upwards may continue.

There are obviously some unknowns: Who else in the top 20 are loyal to the current board? How many holders outside of the top 20 but still hold in the millions are loyal to the current board? Who knows..

But even so: This is why our votes will really count. We make up 70% of the register. We have the power to vote in JB and his team and take back control of our investment. We have been thrown a lifeline here...we really should take it.

Even though IMO there is a strong chance of JB and his team getting the nod and being voted in, there are obviously some unknowns here...so each to their own in terms of strategy, risk appetite and investment decision(s).
