I think the point you are missing is that companies NEED MONEY to develop a project and LPI has had to buy-in to Maricunga. We should be very grateful that we have had the opportunity to do so.

Gekko, the price of the options are always a good indication of where the ordinary shares are heading, at this point there isn't a hope in hell of the shares getting to 55c. and the options show this.
