You have ignored the fact that your studies show that your plan would've been 6400 mW short this evening. How was that to be covered?
Your assumption that there will always be 10% of total wind capacity at all times is complete nonsense. Please look at the current weather map and you will see that the is a mighty big High sitting over a large part of our country. That means virtually no wind.
If you have 5000MW capacity or 50,000MW capacity but there is ZERO wind, your output is ZERO.
Please look at the UK experience for the first half of June. That will be an eye opener.
