Below is copy from a post of short sales made on 18th Feb. Only 300,000 increase in short sales since then so I don't think that is the explanation.

More likely is ADY's history and loose stock mean that when momentum slows the SP turns down until next announcement in a self-fulfilling prophecy. Great for market traders and rightly anticipated by nervous nellies.

What ADY needs IMHO is a resolution to the funding and development time-table, especially for IO. Until PT locks in the funds and market can digest how both major projects will be finalised ADY is still a junior trying to finance a project during a credit crunch with net cash of zero.

Increased IO resources/reserves and ramped-up production promised last year would also help. That said, if one was to sell down to buy back in cheaper later you have probably missed the boat. It may go lower but probably much less to gain on the down-side from here than loose to the upside on next announcement.
