Your eye is out of whack! Its about 10% at 3am but then keeps falling all the way to about 3pm. There can be and have been worse days.
You continue to completely ignore the UK experience of some 14 days in a row with close to zero wind.
That is the issue with wind.
Bakup is needed, so you need to build and cost both the wind and the backup together. At times, the backup needed is all that you expect from the wind as its zero.
If you aim to get 15,000mW from wind, you need 15,000MW in backup to go with it. No one bothers to think about that and to cost it in.
No wonder no one is actually doing this stuff in real life.
I ask again, please name one country that is actually operating on this grand plan? No one has yet done that.
The UK gets its backup from the French nuclear plants. Will we connect to the PNG generators for our backup?
