IMO your all reading way too much into this. Let's be honest, the ASX do not like winners, more importantly they detest anybody who under promises and over delivers. That's not in their playbook, instead they let the likes of SGH and GSW etc get away with pie in the sky crap and burn shareholders with no recourse. (Plenty more we can all remember for sure)
BB did that before and got some crock of a please explain demand from the ASX to justify why the JORC results were better than expected.
Again IMO, that update was just BB taking the position of letting the ASX know that well heck, we may be even better off than we thought. Then when the SS is better than we all thought and the ASX numpties send out their next please explain why you are better than us letter, all BB has to say is..............we told you so.
