The reason given for the trading halt request was: Pending the release of an announcement relating to a proposed acquisition.

The announcement that they had been issued with a 249D was 4.25pm

So yes, REALLY the trading halt was called because of the proposed acquisition, if it goes into suspension it will be related to the acquisition........

Jumping the gun too aren't we, you have no idea if the nominated people are elected what they can achieve, like I said, when the company announces the EGM and the announcement the comes with it, their biographies will be there for all and sundry to scrutinise...
