I think we probably don't appreciate that when everything in the mine and processing plant is working well ...a great rate of production can potentially be achieved. This may seem obvious ...but it's why I remain positive.

While we can sit here in apoplexy and outrage ...we should perhaps consider that stuff happens on site that no one can predict. It is the weakest link that will shut down mining and production, during the truck strike in particular (but also shaft breakages and pump issues and lightening strikes), there would have been a multitude of weak links all vying for supremacy.

So imagine the scenario where you are the CEO and you make a promise that seems reasonable under the circumstances, and then you find out that because of a number of these unforeseen factors, production was delayed. So you leave the decision as late as possible in the hope of making an announcement and you keep your options open by this delay.

You know that if you announce that some special bolt or overheated pump will receive no sympathy from the market ...so then you decide to delay ...and then its close to next month so you make the decision to combine the announcements.

You can be sure no one will be happy whatever you do ...but that life.

I would have preferred a detailed qualitative update ...but even that can be difficult if the facts are evolving.

But, overall, I'm still very happy with the state of the plant, seeing it in operation and also the professional and tidy condition of the whole plant.

Maybe ....just Maybe....because they are now producing gold......they are concerned about "Manuel the Bandido" Everyone knows he lives in the hills to the east of Cascavel....he and his retribates can easily ride their "Boros" to the mine. They are heavily armed...and very good "bandido's" they could easily remove the gold with minimum fuss from OGX...Yes that's why we hav'nt had any announcements!!I have been to harsh on management and sorry I apologise.
