its called a share buy back to cusion the impending collapse, they hope that once the buy back is finished that all will be fine, but i doubt it.
AMC looks to be in major trouble and i would not be suprised to see it half in value sometime soon, so many stocks now a days that get punished for bad results, take a look at ABS the latest.
AMC results were terrible in my eyes and a share buy back was a short term answer from stopping the stock crashing, once the buy back is finished i feel it will ne night night, dowjones up around 100 points today and AMC down, 1 down night in the US and this stock will drop 30 odd cents, good time to get set with the short since the buy back will finish soon, they only have left to buy around 80 odd million i think.
