This was the comment i found interesting from the webinar yesterday and again on the recording today. it is around the 36-38 minute mark of the webinar.
2. "There are several other carriers in our sales pipeline seeking the same service" - Rahul
This comment is made at around the 39 minute mark regarding the International Roaming expansion.
3. Update on the integrations:"You will be hearing about the formal integrations in the weeks and months to come." Rahul (He repeats this same comment again later in the webinar)
4. Addressable Audience = IOS and Android smart phones only on carriers who can access the Freeway service. Does not include feature phones (non smart phones). Global Install Base = The technology is actually installed on those devices. Current Geographies: US, Mexico, Indonesia, Malaysia, India - currently 662 Million smartphones
6. Current Addressable Audience (without additional announcements): 824 Million. Even more carriers to be announced 2018.
7. TATA: On track for upcoming commercial launch. The dialogue between TATA and Syntonic is on a regular occurrence. The broader relationship will provide a foundation for continuous global growth of the Syntonic install base and create further revenue streams which will provide significant value for the company and shareholders.
8. Turkey: There are no obstacles to continue the integrations with the top 3 Turkish carriers. They are "very bullish" on this integration.
9. 5G: (IMO, if you weren't aware, you may need to research a little more) 5G is backwards compatible with 4G, so there is no functionality issue with Syntonic's technology and the deployment of 5G. 5G provides faster speeds, shorter latencies and increased connectivity - largely increased by consumer demand (4K quality, smart devices (always connected online)).
10. Connected Devices: Syntonic completed tests with Tier 1 carriers relating to the connect car.
Explanation: The car is wired for 4G connectivity. The telematics data was sponsored by the car manufacturer so they can text when the car needs servicing. The collision data would be sponsored by the insurance company to stream line the insurance claim and you would purchase your bundle for Spotify playback in your dashboard. We believe there are further opportunities for Syntonic and 5G, however, 5G as a global standard appears 5-10 years away from being fully functional.
11. Net Neutrality: New opportunities to allow differentiated quality of service for contents (different quality of tiers of Netflix). These app levels of quality differentiation is something Syntonic can offer today.
12. FY2019 Lookout: Global platform leader that enables mobile carriers with value added content services for consumers and providers. The 2019 year will be the breakthrough year where all investments made in building out the partner network, carrier engagements etc will translate into top line growth for Syntonic. What excited Gary is the long myriad of pipeline customers looking towards Syntonic which validates the business decisions.
