its not rocket science for heavens sake, so forget about robots and who is or is not paying taxes, the argument that "some" people cant find full time work just doesn't wash ,there are some who couldn't find work laying bricks in Baghdad and many who haven't worked in years and never will through choice. there are many who will not get off their bums and move home or re train themselves
why do you think most parts of Europe actively seek immigrants, they recognize the effect of the retiring baby boomers for one and the writing is on the wall . so when you next suggest we dont need migrants, ask where you think the next generation of tradies, dentists, nurses,hairdressers to name a few will come from
