Couldn't agree more guys, we are systematically giving up our freedoms in the name of libertarianism (what the). The fact that the question of Sharia law has even surfaced in the UK is a worrying phenomena. The English are classic in this, there is a proposal to only serve halal meat in English schools because it's a lot easier than serving one or the other duh. People just don't realise, for want of an analogy it's like the convict chip chip chipping away at his escape tunnel, one day he will finish it, and he will be gone before the guards notice. Same with our freedoms, they are systematically being chipped away, until one day we're voting on the inclusion of some elements of Sharia law into our judicial system.
This is serious, we need to be stronger as a Country, and as a people with shared values. We can not accommodate one cultures norms, just because fanatical elements jump up and down like lunatics. Our response generally is "ohh what ever, let them have it if it gets them that beat up".
