some construcive comments from Stowaway, BB and Needle. If MFS comes back on it will be a shadow/shell of its former self. Nevertheless there will be better suited suitors for the funds arm.....who knows - Equititrust, La Trobe.....maybe even Hutson's Wellington? The buyer will slash and burn the loan portfolio.....bit like the way MFS treated Landmark syndicates after it took over. ASIC is keeping away because it gave MFS such a blind eye/favoured run and and is inherently unqualified - or is its NCIU in there saving the day? - I think not.
