Hey IJ, I noticed another thing you said...
They have $27m in cash monies - already half of that required to pay that big bad court case (that we know they have all lost, right?) without even having to blink an eye.
Unfortunately, that is NZD, and last I checked the court case for $50M USD, equivalent to $73M NZD as of today's FX rate.
BRL do all their reporting in NZD, so how can $27M NZD be equal to half of a $50m USD court case.......$27m NZD is just over 1/3 of what will be owed vs your half that you say.
You know, all for being truthful and telling it like it actually is...
That still leaves a yawning gap in possible court payments which could be due much sooner rather than later, as well as having to possibly fund JAL to the tune of $121.5M CAD (that's $136.5M NZD in case you need an FX calculator...).
Those are some massive risks you are missing out of your calculations. I suggest you factor these in before something pear-shaped happens and the market acts all "stupid" again...
