I don't believe I said QBE was a great buy. At least I don't recall that.
Last year when it soared with HK after the Aug low I said it would plunge worse than most.
I have been saying that local banks look good for at least a part holding here.
In fact I got one of my sons who is a NAB manager to buy early Monday part of what he wanted to buy.
I am telling him to wait now and I don't rule out the chance of lower price even down to 22.50.
QBe will improve when all the financials do I guess and since the US bank index topped with Armstrongs top, the probably will be good buys at his low at Easter.
I will look at QBE after the close and give you my better assessment.
