I’ll say this to everyone here because I think it applies to many in this thread - investing should not be an emotional activity.

The personal attacks, the snide comments, even listing your wins/losses (see: appeal to authority), they all detract from your credibility and from the quality of discussion on HC. If you feel sufficiently emotionally invested in the outcome of a company or an argument about that company, I would suggest you have either allocated more than you can afford into that investment or you are letting emotion guide your investment decisions and analysis.

We all understand that HC is a gossip forum and rumour mill, but it still has genuine value for retail investors if we use it to expand our knowledge and critically compare our analysis. While he disagrees with me, I appreciate that @aurifice took the time to share his thoughts on valuation and his assessment of the risks. I did some further reading after his responses to me, and I ended up adjusting my target position down to factor in considerations I was unaware of.

Risk is not something to get emotional over. Risk analysis is a skill you can learn, and you can factor risk probability and risk impact into your valuations and adjust your allocations accordingly. If you aren’t doing this, or you aren’t even doing independent valuations on your holdings at all, it’s likely that you aren’t qualified to be investing in single stocks and you would have a far higher long-term return investing in ETFs or managed funds.

If you feel the need to attack or degrade strangers on the internet, or glorify yourself for their approval, you lack the emotional maturity required to engage in discussions about financial analysis, risk assessment and investment strategy.

For the sake of quality discussion and expanding everyone’s dataset and knowledge base, can we all try to focus on the companies we are discussing, rather than satisfying our egos?
