The problem with all this, it won't be a takeover bid ( which would benefit shareholders, or at least those shareholders who have gotten on board at cheap prices ), it will be a demand for a gigantic placement, at a large discount to CURRENT share prices. This will be hugely dilutionary and limit future upside in the shareprice due to the dilution of future eps.
