I really do not think for one moment that this action has anything to do with trying to improve the share price.
Last thing on JK's mind quite frankly. I think he aims to deliver on the projects and let the share price take care of itself on the basis of results.
No this legal action has been in the pipeline for some time. It is just a matter of when was the most appropriate time to undertake the exercise.
I personally thought that it was not something that was going to happen. How wrong can you be.
So then you have got to ask yourself - "why has the action been taken now?"
Is it a case of trying to get back the $2.2 million owed ?It would be handy to add to the $9 million in the bank.
Or are there additional benefits for RAU in taking this action now ? I don't think it is just the money! Could be wrong but I think it will be more than just the money. But I am not exactly sure what at the moment.
