Seems to be some completely unwarranted speculation around the reason for CAT extending, with suspicious motive.
The announcement itself indicates it is to bring the MOU in line with test completion dates, which were pushed out during the term of the original MOU. This was always the intention of the MOU - CAT to enter a commercial partnership with FBR and acquire a larger equity stake AFTER the tech was fully tested and proven.
To speculate otherwise is nonsense.
