Just watched Abbott on SKY.

He's correct that the NEG is an emissions mechanism not a pricing mechanism. And his view is supported by Ms Schott who is the head of the energy regulator. Prices will continue to go up. That's a given

Abbott's speech tonight in Melbourne will bring out the looneys in the press.
