Some here may remember Matt, he was executive director at Vocus for corporate and wholesale, he left for Superloop 18 months ago, with some others following, which caused some concern to shareholders.

Matt also oversaw negotiation of an IRU with superloop before leaving to work for them, there was some hints that he might have done them a favour in that deal, the cost of the deal was disclosed in subsequent superloop reports, but i didnt see any obvious problem with my very limited knowledge of such deals.

Anyway Michael Simmons stepped down from the board to replace him, and did a brilliant job in my view, reducing a backlog of orders, operated to a tighter budget.

Corporate and wholesale at Vocus is going to be split into Government and International (which Michael will lead), and Enterprise and Wholesale, which doesn't have anyone announced yet.

Anyway, Superloop just announced Matt is stepping down from position of GM of sales and marketing at Superloop, he is staying on as a director, but they also left a bit of a mixed goodbye message, "We look forward to continued associated with Matt and wish him well".

Not sure what his story is, and i dont know him at all, but that Enterprise and Wholesale position is one of the most important at Vocus, i hope it gets filled with someone trusted, capable and reliable, which i don't think he is.
