Here is a graph from the US EPA. I accept that the figures for CTL are not base on the underground version of the process. Can someone tell me what these would be using the process LNC plans to use? My suspicion is there will be a small saving on the conventional CTL process but not significant enough for it to improve on any of the available alternatives. Without geo-sequestration it could be disastrous if used in large quantities. This is looking quite possible if China and India pursue this.
