negative:
narrow-vein high nugget orebodies are unpredictable, require a high-level of capital development and res-dev drilling with low tonnes per vertical metre.
Narrow-vein mining is technically difficult, often subjected to stope bridging (leading to sterilisation) or excessive dilution when using mechanised mining techniques.
High variability in grade often creates a 'feast or famine' for the mill making scheduling of ROM blend difficult.
Trying to commission a project has it's inherrant risks - these are amplified when relying on these type of orebodies as the main oresource - better suited to prospector and private mining outfits IMO
However, these orebodies are a great secondary feed source when production targets are not overly reliant on them - eg AVO's trident deposit
