For as many right calls on Centro I have had as many wrong.

It has become a gamblers stock unfortunatley which has scared many institutional and normal investors away.

For steady price and growth on the SP we will need to see some solid news of the future.

Still too many factors at play and really the news today was negative even though their operating revenue was up. Therein lies the problem, if they sell their good assets at a loss they lose the good revenue stream and a writedown on the value when it's sold.

The writedown today indicated they are preparing for an inevatable sale of assets. At this stage the best result in the short term would be for a buyout or capital injection.

Long term, looks good provided they can hold of the lenders & keep up repayments. A return to diviends could be up 2years from now.

I will continue to keep a postion open and add on an upward trend when we see one. The problem is everytime it moves up it moves back nearly as quickly.

Until this stops we will see no reason for investors to keep their positions open.
