The real reason for the angst against Senator Hanson-Young has nothing to do with her intellectual capacity after all she has a university degree and was eligible to be accepted in a post graduate course in law. Why not just be honest and admit you are very anti her views on asylum seekers and therein lies the core basis for all the personal diatribe you direct towards her. After all many of you here adore the non university educated and often bumbling and confusing other Senator Hanson and the reason for that is also obvious and that is the you agree with her stance on asylum seekers.
The questioning that goes on in Senate Committee hearings are very robust and you are singling out Hanson-Young based on your political biases. You complain about paying the bill for their salaries. Well, they have all been elected to parliament and regardless what we as individuals think of them they are entitled to the specified renumeration. There are Senators in Parties other than the Greens whom many would regard as crackpots but they have been elected and are entitled to participate fully in our Senate and be paid.
Reflection is needed and the realisation that your views are clouded by your rose coloured political glasses. How our politicians are perceived is all in the eye of the beholder. Look at well known poster Hairyback, his target is Turnbull and because of that his posts basically will credit the PM with zilch positives. Some target Shorten in the same way along with other political figures.
