Well yes and no.
Unlike oil, most metals can be recycled to a greater or lesser degree.
Also there is unlikely to be any real shortage of any metals for hundreds of years, just lower and lower ore grades and deeper and deeper mines.
Also metals will one day be sourced from Mars and asteroids.
There is "finite" and then there is "finite" but oil is likely to become a lot scarcer than metals.
