Scott, I agree on the overnight moves comment. When the current market makes big moves it's usually over night and then the market is flat in comparison during the day. All you can do during the day is look for scalps and setup trades for the overnight move. During the Jan falls I was playing SPI, FTSE and Dow every day. Could only keep it up for a 2-3 weeks. By the end of the 3rd week I was sleeping most of the weekend. Sometimes one has to do the long hours (especially when you are learning in this environment) but when the markets quieten down we can all catch up on some sleep. Maybe that's why we had a consolidation period... All the short term players needed the sleep .. LOL
