Thanks everyone for running and contributing to this thread- it's early days for me but this and the Wyckoff thread are the best learning resources I've found on the internet! I love all the real charts to test my understanding against and the quizzes are awesome. I came across these two threads the week before last and have been skimming through and jumping around but already the clouds are rapidly parting when looking at charts. Now I'm just going to go back and step through the threads and each quiz, and come out the other end so sharp it's dangerous!![]()
So a couple of questions. With the quizzes, is it possible to include the stock code and dates for the chart examples? Two reasons- I use standard candles so I'd like to look at each quiz in my charting software (Trading View) to compare etc. And also I'd like to check out how some of the indicators and oscillators etc behave during the events identified to help get a better feel for them.
Also, standard candles are the only ones I've used so far so I'm used to them- but is there a reason why you'd use bars instead?- are there advantages etc, or is it just personal preference and what you have learned?
Thanks again.
