The bid is now at 1.09. I thought that 'wall' at 1.10 might have shifted back a bit, but no. It looks like it is just retailers who thought a while back that a nice round $1.10 would be nice. If that is the case don't be surprised if a covering shortseller decides to take it all as the best chance of a fair price before it moves up past it, likely by several cents.
