Yes all good points and at least SDL has some of its ore as high quality- better than the average. The rest is regular and plenty of it. All shovel ready as they say The location was always a little isolated but with Cameroon and the coast location being built up now with main ports, roads and more to come, surely the project only looks more attractive. We have to be aware that Africa is a poor country by our western "speedy" standards, so we have to expect lots of hurdles on the way. However better that the area is growing than going into decline as i would be the first to exit. Perhaps the days of 50c excitement of speculation of a big backer may come again or it will be funded quietly by some nameless Chinese consortium and a few part poppers and a bottle of champagne later, we will be moving forward.
Is Sundance holding out for one big player or should SH's be encouraging the board to just go with a group and get on with it and sort out the power trip after! . None of us are getting any younger!
Perhaps they already doing that, but the timing of a boom and $120 a ton is too far away at least in investors eyes for what they want out of their return...
