    No, I didn't ignore it your question. I explained why it wasn't relevant.

    But here's your initial and subsequent statement and question, and my more direct reply:
    In reply to bellcurve asking for a metric on just how stupid denial could get, you stated:
    "It is obviously a rhetorical question as nobody that matters would deny that climate changes over time."
    I replied pointing out you had reframed the issue, and that the question was about how stupid denial of potentially dangerous AGW was, not about denial of climate changing over time.
    And you replied:
    "You believe somebody whose opinion matters believes that the climate does not change, can you name them?"

    The statement part of your question is false/irrelevant. And I can't remember the last turkey's name who went that far. But we've had them.
