Delays upset me. When the company says one thing and another happens also upsets me.
In the real world deadlines are important to meet. If you go over a deadline and have no explanation as to why it is poor performance.
If you worked for me and said that you’d have a product available by a date, and that date passes and there is no reasonable explanation as to why, you’d find yourself unemployed. It’s a measure of competence.
